Symposium Theme
The symposium will address political history, material culture, epigraphy, art, technological development, cultural interaction and relations, as well as new excavation and survey results concerning the Hittite civilization in the regions south of the Southeastern Taurus Mountains from the mid-second millennium BCE to the mid-first millennium BCE.
Symposium Objective
The objective is to provide an international scientific platform where leading scholars specializing in the Hittite civilization present and discuss their latest research findings. The symposium proceedings will ensure that new knowledge and results are disseminated to the wider academic community.
